When I record food everything is always so many grams of this or a cup of that etc and I have no idea what size everything actually is. I was always taking educated guesses, well that has now all changed. To begin with a went out and bought a pair of old style measuring scales, got them out and was very excited until I realised that the amount I was measuring was so minuscule it was virtually impossible to read it on the scale! So I looked on line and found quite a few good things but the one I thought was the best and the one I thought was the one that looked the least like a Diet tool was a plastic cup measure. Its really good as each cup size folds down so its flat, its easy to use and very easy to clean. The largest size is 1 cup and then it goes down in size from there. I got it from www.thecookskitchen.com and it wasn't that expensive which is good.
I used it this morning to measure out my cereal and I have to say I felt really good knowing I was having the right amount!
I need to get some measuring cups! I always eyeball it and I know its almost always more than it should be. Those look really cute, I think its time for me to look into it!
