At the weekend it is my friends Hen Party which I am so so looking forward to. In the evening we are going out and have decided to dress nicely. Now this obviously left me with a shopping opportunity.... the reason being is that I do have a few dresses but they are all smart dresses which are more for posh dinners or cocktail events... not going out dinner and dancing in a bar/club dresses. I do not own a LBD as to be honest I haven't been confident enough to have one or really had the need... so I have done lots of looking online and looking in shops to find the right dress!

I have probably tried on near to 20 dresses and last night eventually found the right one. Now it is alot tighter than I would normally go for but I am channelling my Kardashian and embracing my curves and going for it.... it is booby without being crude and figure hugging in most of the right places. It defo shows of my curves....!! Here it is:
The dress does look a little different on me as it is more booby on me and doesn't skim quite as cleanly as on the model! However I asked Biggy and he says it looks good. To draw my waist in more I am wearing a wide cream belt which has a Gold shell clip in the middle:

One little rant I would like to make is how hard it is to find a nice dress that isn't mid thigh. I do not have great legs and defiantly would never ever ever want to show of my thighs ( not a the moment at least anyway) in fact I have a thing about my knees and don't really like showing them off either. When I was looking for dresses virtually everything was really high and it is ridiculous that it is so hard to find dresses that are going-out dresses not evening wear that are to the knee or below... even on the "Curve" ranges everything is above the knee... it makes me really really annoyed. There is a well known "reality" personality in the UK who wears clothes she really shouldn't and I don't want to look that at all... I think if you don't have the figure for it you shouldn't wear it just because it is on the high street or what alot of people are wearing. No offence to anybody that does wear short skirts.. after all it is a personal choice. Just for me I think you look slimmer and better when you dress to suit your figure.

OR NOT TO WEAR |
I think it about time that the High Street dressed women of all shapes... not just straight up and down or Long Tall Sally types.
