Whoop Whoop its Friday! I'm getting so so excited about this weekend.... I really can not wait! I am a little nervous as we will be eating quite alot but I know I can control things and will just pass some things up. I did get on the scales this morning as after seeing a rise I really wasn't happy and am back to my starting weight from Monday. Which I know isn't the aim but better than a gain. We are going to a Spa on Sunday and so am going to spend quite a bit of time in the steam room and sweat everything out!!!
I am reading quite a few blogs at the moment and its great to see the success that people have in losing weight and it's also great to read that everybody and I mean EVERYBODY falls off the waggon a few times and struggles the sames as I do. It has made me feel a bit better about my slow weight loss over the last 2 weeks as I am the kind of person that when I want something I want it to happen NOW and that just won't happen with my weight unless I do it in a unhealthy way which just isn't going to happen because I am not that stupid! I have lost 18lbs to date in 5 months which is an average of just under 4lbs a month and I should be pleased with that as it also includes a few weeks where nothing happened. So if I did the same in 10 months I would have lost a total of 40 lbs which is fantastic...so for anyone else that is putting lots of pressure on themselves... relax....this is a long journey which is a slow process. I have to make sure I remember this...as sometimes I really do let it get to me and beat myself up about it!
On a side note...Biggy and I are going to garage today to return a car and I have a feeling it is going to end up in a heated argument and maybe even the police... (sad to say I love a bit of drama). Last week Biggy bought a new car from a 2nd hand car garage. It is VW golf and was £900. Good value for money, looked like it had been thrown around a bit but generally in good condition. Well could we be more wrong... we took it to our local garage as we wanted to change the fan belt and then got a call..... the car is virtually ready to blow up. Even if we spent £2000 on it it wouldn't be in the condition to pass a MOT...which is funny as the garage gave us a certificate of a MOT where everything had passed on July the 7th (exactly 3 weeks from buying it) I phoned the number where the MOT was carried out and guess what..the number doesn't work! Our garage man said he is so so so angry and disgusted that the garage sold us the car in the first place. Anyway I am not sure we will get our Money back and do think it will get very very heated. What ever happens we will be reporting them to a number of official car places as the car is so dangerous that Biggy could have had a SERIOUS accident in it. I am just grateful that we took the car straight away to our garage and didn't drive in it for months on end not realising we were sitting in a death trap!
